About Alagra Products

Alagra Products is owned and run by two directors, both of who have many years experience in the Gardening Market.

Grahame Lester (on the right) is a former Owner and Sales & Marketing Director of Compton Buildings. Grahame was directly responsible for the Greenhouse Division, which included Alton Cedar Greenhouses and Summerhouses and Robinsons Aluminium Greenhouses.

Prior to his 15 years with Compton he worked for Halls Greenhouses and then Banbury Homes and Gardens.

Alan Pettyfer is a qualified engineer and during the late nineties in collaboration with his son Nick invented The Original Growpot.

The combination of Alan’s engineering expertise and Nick’s horticultural background (Otley College) will enable us to introduce yet more exciting scientifically based garden products. These in turn will be fully tried and tested in the same way as The Original Growpot was to underpin our policy of supplying quality proven products.
